Malaya Study Group : Pahang - The Chersonese Collection

Pahang - The Chersonese Collection

by the British Philatelic Expertising Educational Charity

Published by the British Philatelic Expertising Educational Charity in 2009, Pahang – The Chersonese Collection deals with the early postal history of Pahang from 1888 to 1903.

It gives a comprehensive description of the development of Pahang and its communications by sea and by river. The book also includes extracts from contemporary reports, a listing of postmarks, a chronology and a bibliography backed up by 23 illustrations.

The main point of The Chersonese Collection is to illustrate the contents of a Gold medal collection of Pahang in full colour.

There are 70 pages of stamps and covers and a map with an index. It has been produced with high quality surfaced paper and is hardbound with a dust cover, priced at £35.
