It is with great sorrow that the Study Group has to announce the passing of our distinguished member, Joe Robertson. Joe was a very active collector and MSG Member. He attended many meetings in London and round the country, giving displays and contributions.
He suffered a stroke on a cruise, returned to England, but passed away a short time afterwards.
‘There will be a remembrance of Joe Robertson’s Life where people from his various interest groups will speak about him on Tuesday 28 March at 11.00. This will be an opportunity for his friends to meet at Loddon Vale Indoor Bowls Club, on the Leisure Park in Basingstoke, RG22 6PG. Joe joined the MSG in 1981, was on the Committee from 1991 to 1995, Distribution Secretary from 1992 – 1999, and Hon Secretary from 1995 – 2007.
