Malayan Meter Marks 1927-1945

The MSG is very pleased to publish this book by our distinguished Member, Henry Ong.

The book is being launched on 10 February at a display at The Royal Philatelic Society of London, at which he is one of three speakers to mark the anniversary of the introduction of such marks. It is the result of many years of careful collecting and diligent research. It explains the importance of Meter Marks, their origin and development from single value machines to multiple value ones and the early inclusion of advertising which helped to make them so popular in the commercial world.

This hardback book is lavishly illustrated which adds enormously to its use as a guide and reference work, not just to specialist collectors, but to all of us who have at least some meter marks among our wider collection.
